The AATAM method

A question you can experience.

Make time for yourself. On a walk, in a story, as you breathe or wind down. Explore life’s questions through immersive experiences made for the moment you have.

Everyday choices. Cinematic worlds.

What would it mean to you if they disagreed with your decision?

You lead a team choosing a supplier today. Both proposals meet the brief. You favour the smaller firm; most colleagues favour the familiar one. Everyone has been heard. The booking expires this afternoon, and your closest colleague asks for another discussion.

Enter the village council. Cinematic immersive sound and guidance invite you deeper inside your mind. Take a role, notice your response and bring it into awareness. Afterwards, connect it to your life and explore what each choice offers and costs. Your first response may already serve you.

A shared start.
Your own experience.

A shared start is a set time to begin the same recorded experience as others, each listening privately through headphones. No camera, microphone or chat. Choose a listed showing if a shared beginning fits your day; each experience states its own access and duration.

The method, in plain sight

Experience. Understand.
Choose what fits.

Your response shapes what happens next. Explore what it offers and costs in this situation. Choose whether and what to practise.

What is available today?

Dopamine Boost and Box Breathing are free short introductions to sound and breathing. New question-led recordings and programmes are in development. The experience library shows actual listening options; a written preview is not a recording.

Skills for your next move

Nine skills. One moment at a time.

Understand your response. Explore a useful alternative. Choose what fits the moment.

Precision behind the experience

Does this response serve
what matters to you here?

Agreement can be generous. Waiting can be wise. Taking charge can help. The same response can also get in the way of something you want. Explore the situation, what matters and the trade-offs on both sides.

A protective response. A choice worth exploring.

AATAM’s original research maps nine survival patterns around concerns shared across human life: belonging, status—called Worth in the framework—and safety in the unknown. You might agree to preserve a connection, keep refining work to avoid judgement, or wait for more certainty before committing.

These responses can serve us now. The framework offers questions about a situation, not a verdict about you. Honesty may bring disagreement; sharing responsibility may mean accepting another way. Explore what each choice offers and asks of you.

The research and the framework
Inside AATAM’s method architecture

AATAM takes a systems approach: the state you arrive in, the experience you enter, the response you notice and the practice you return to are designed together. The aim is to connect awareness with chosen action.

Predictive models

Learned expectations about yourself, other people and what may happen. AATAM uses a dilemma to explore these deeper layers: what you expect, what feels at stake and which response follows.

Metacognition

Noticing how your own mind is responding. In AATAM’s method, you notice first and examine the trade-offs afterwards. Then you decide what to practise, try a small move in life and return with what you learned.

AATAM’s original framework

The papers inform the underlying concepts. The 3 dimensions, 9 pattern families, 59 exact cards and 9 skills form AATAM’s authored architecture. Research on components does not establish the effects of the complete method.

Programme depth

Different questions.
A meaningful progression.

A programme connects complete experiences around different parts of a larger question. A story might open the inquiry; a walk or reflective visit may explore another part. The recommended order can fit your life.

How a programme can unfold
  1. 01

    Begin where it matters.

Explore one precise question, with a clear purpose and complete ending.

  2. 02

    See another part.

Continue through a distinct smaller question, using a format that suits it.

  3. 03

    Bring understanding into life.

Choose what to observe or try. An unrelated everyday listen need not become another programme step.

You can begin with a relevant moment when it is available; everyday listening is welcome on its own. Sessions with Aayush offer optional guidance when available.

Questions worth asking

Before your
first immersive.

What you’ll experience, how to begin, and where to go deeper.

A guiding voice and spatial sound accompany you through breathing, a walk, a story or quiet time. You can choose an experience without selecting a question first. Or begin with something you want to understand and find an experience that explores it. You bring your own meaning; you do not need to learn a framework to begin.
